Quality
We produce 5000+ large round bales of reeds canary grass annually, wrapped twice with cover edge net wrap. Reeds canary grass is a perennial forage grass that, when managed correctly, consistently outperforms other grasses in protein content. First cutting tests 13% and later cuttings test 18% protein, meeting the USDA standards for premium quality. Forage samples are provided per customer request.
Per Ton Pricing
Bales weigh from 1200-1400 pounds, but we sell it by the ton. Per ton pricing is important for transparency: customers know to the pound the amount of hay they purchase. We deliver semi loads averaging 20-22 tons per load. Pickup in White Hall, IL, is also available.
